FTL Communications LLC, doing business as WeMetOnline ("WeMetOnline," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use WeMetOnline.com, the WeMetOnline mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
WeMetOnline is an 18+ social networking service that allows users to create profiles, publish posts, upload photographs, and interact with other users.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only information reasonably necessary to provide, operate, and protect the Service.
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:
- First name
- Last name, if you choose to provide it
- Email address
- City
- State
- ZIP code, if you choose to provide it
- Date of birth
Your date of birth is collected to determine whether you meet WeMetOnline's minimum age requirement.
User-Provided Content
You may voluntarily provide content through the Service, including:
- Profile information
- Profile photographs
- Photos you upload
- Posts
- Comments
- Replies
- Other content you choose to publish or submit
Content that you intentionally publish through WeMetOnline may be visible to other users according to the functionality and privacy settings of the Service.
Do not publish information that you do not want other users to see.
Technical and Security Information
When necessary to operate and protect the Service, our systems may automatically process limited technical information such as:
- IP address
- Login and access timestamps
- Browser or device information
- Application error information
- Server logs
- Security and abuse-prevention logs
We use this information to operate the Service, troubleshoot problems, protect accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, detect unauthorized access, and maintain system security.
We do not use this information to build advertising profiles about users.
2. How We Use Information
We use information collected through WeMetOnline to:

WeMetOnline is a social networking service and contains content created by users.

Users should not publish confidential or sensitive information they do not want others to see.
WeMetOnline provides mechanisms that allow users to:
- Report inappropriate content
- Report abusive users
- Block other users
We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content when reasonably necessary to enforce our rules, investigate reports, comply with applicable law, or protect users and the Service.
6. Photos
Uploading photographs is optional.
If you upload a photograph, we store and process the image so it can be displayed through WeMetOnline.
You retain ownership of photographs and other original content you upload.
By uploading content, you grant WeMetOnline the limited rights described in our Terms of Service necessary to host, process, store, transmit, and display that content through the Service.
7. Location Information
We collect the city and state that you provide.
Providing a ZIP code is optional.
Unless separately disclosed to you and authorized through your device, WeMetOnline does not collect your device's precise GPS location.
City, state, and ZIP code information is not used as precise device-location tracking.
8. Age Requirement
WeMetOnline is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service.
We collect your date of birth to determine whether you satisfy this eligibility requirement.
If we learn or reasonably believe that a person under 18 has created an account, we may suspend or permanently delete the account and associated information.
Users may not provide a false date of birth or otherwise misrepresent their age to obtain access to the Service.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from:
- Unauthorized access
- Unauthorized disclosure
- Alteration
- Loss
- Misuse
Where supported by our systems, data transmitted between your device and our servers is protected using encrypted connections such as HTTPS/TLS.
No Internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
10. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account remains active and as reasonably necessary to provide the Service.
When an account is permanently deleted, we delete or anonymize personal information and user-generated content associated with the account from our active systems, except where limited retention is reasonably necessary or legally required for:
- Security
- Fraud prevention
- Abuse investigations
- Resolving disputes
- Enforcing legal rights
- Compliance with applicable law
Some information may remain temporarily in backup systems until those backups are overwritten through our normal backup cycle.
Information retained for these limited purposes will not be used for unrelated purposes.
11. Account and Data Deletion
Users may request permanent deletion of their WeMetOnline account.
Account deletion is available from within the WeMetOnline mobile application through the account or settings section.

Deleting an account results in deletion of the user's account and associated personal information and user-generated content from our active systems, except information we are legally permitted or required to retain for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, legal, or compliance purposes.
Temporary account suspension, disabling, or deactivation is not considered permanent account deletion.
We may require users to authenticate their account before processing a deletion request in order to prevent unauthorized deletion.
12. Your Choices
Depending on available functionality, users may:
- Review or update profile information
- Remove optional profile information
- Delete photographs
- Delete posts or other content
- Block another user
- Report another user
- Report inappropriate content
- Change available privacy settings
- Permanently delete their account
- Contact us regarding their personal information
Users may also withdraw optional application permissions through their device settings.
13. Email Communications
We use your email address for purposes such as:
- Account registration
- Authentication
- Password recovery
- Security notifications
- Service notices
- Customer support
- Other communications directly related to your WeMetOnline account
If we send optional promotional communications, you may unsubscribe using the mechanism included with those communications.
Account, security, or transactional communications may continue while your account remains active.
14. Third-Party Links
Users may publish links to third-party websites or services.
WeMetOnline does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third-party services.
Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that third party's policies.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our Service, practices, technology, or legal obligations change.
When material changes occur, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
