WeMetOnline Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WeMetOnline.com, the WeMetOnline mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

FTL Communications LLC operates the Service under the name WeMetOnline ("WeMetOnline," "we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, accessing, or using WeMetOnline, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and 18+ Requirement
WeMetOnline is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- The date of birth you provide is accurate
- Your registration information is accurate
- You are legally permitted to use the Service
- You will not misrepresent your age to gain access
- You have not previously been permanently removed from WeMetOnline for serious or repeated violations unless we have expressly authorized your return
Accounts belonging to users we reasonably believe are under 18 may be suspended or permanently terminated.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
You may not:
- Create an account using another person's identity without authorization
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Provide a false date of birth
- Sell or transfer your account
- Provide unauthorized access to your account
- Use another person's account without permission
- Create accounts for spam, fraud, automated abuse, or manipulation
- Attempt to circumvent a suspension or permanent ban
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless that activity results from circumstances outside your reasonable control.
Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Social Networking and User-Generated Content
WeMetOnline allows users to create, upload, publish, and interact with content, including:
- Posts
- Comments
- Replies
- Profile information
- Photographs
- Other user-generated material
You are responsible for content you submit through WeMetOnline.
You may submit only content that you have the legal right to use, publish, and distribute.
4. Ownership of Your Content
You retain ownership of intellectual-property rights you hold in content you submit to WeMetOnline.
By uploading, publishing, or otherwise submitting content through the Service, you grant FTL Communications LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Host
- Store
- Reproduce
- Process
- Transmit
- Display
- Distribute
your content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, maintain, secure, and improve WeMetOnline.
For example, this license allows us to store and display a photo you upload or display one of your posts to other users.
This license generally ends when your content is deleted from our active systems, except where:
- Other users have independently copied or shared the content
- Temporary backup copies remain
- Retention is required by law
- Retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigations, dispute resolution, or enforcement
We do not acquire ownership of your content merely because you publish it through WeMetOnline.
5. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may not use WeMetOnline to create, publish, promote, transmit, facilitate, or engage in content or conduct that:
- Violates applicable law
- Threatens, harasses, stalks, intimidates, or bullies another person
- Encourages violence or credible threats of physical harm
- Exploits, depicts, solicits, or sexualizes minors
- Contains child sexual abuse material
- Facilitates human trafficking or sexual exploitation
- Contains prohibited pornographic or sexually explicit material
- Promotes hatred or violence against protected groups
- Encourages suicide or self-harm in violation of our safety rules
- Violates another person's privacy
- Publishes private or sensitive information about another person without authorization
- Infringes copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other intellectual-property rights
- Is fraudulent or intentionally deceptive
- Contains malware, phishing, credential theft, or malicious code
- Constitutes spam or unauthorized commercial solicitation
- Artificially manipulates engagement or Service functionality
- Uses automated bots or scripts without our authorization
- Attempts to bypass access controls or security measures
- Interferes with the operation or security of WeMetOnline
- Encourages criminal activity
- Violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines
We may establish additional Community Guidelines defining acceptable and prohibited content in greater detail.
6. Reporting Content and Users
Users may report content or behavior they reasonably believe violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
Reporting functionality may be available directly within WeMetOnline.

We may investigate reports and take action when appropriate.
Actions may include:
- Removing content
- Restricting content visibility
- Warning a user
- Limiting account functionality
- Temporarily suspending an account
- Permanently terminating an account
- Preserving records where appropriate
- Reporting suspected unlawful activity to authorities when required or appropriate
7. Blocking Users
WeMetOnline provides functionality that allows users to block other users.
Blocking may prevent or restrict another user's ability to view, contact, follow, or interact with you, depending on the functionality available through the Service.
Users may not circumvent another person's block through alternate accounts or other means.
8. Content Moderation
WeMetOnline may use:
- User reports
- Human review
- Automated systems
- Filtering technology
- Other moderation methods
to identify or address content that may violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
We are not obligated to publish, host, or continue displaying any particular user content.
We reserve the right to remove or restrict content or accounts when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to:
- Enforce these Terms
- Enforce our Community Guidelines
- Protect users
- Prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents
- Comply with applicable law
- Satisfy legitimate requirements of application-distribution platforms
Our failure to immediately remove particular content does not constitute an endorsement of that content.
9. Public Content and User Interactions
WeMetOnline is a social networking service.
Information and content that you intentionally make public may be viewed, copied, photographed, saved, or redistributed by other users.
You should exercise appropriate judgment when interacting with people you meet online.
WeMetOnline does not guarantee the identity, statements, intentions, conduct, or accuracy of information provided by another user.
10. Intellectual Property
The WeMetOnline name, trademarks, logos, software, design, user interface, and other materials provided by FTL Communications LLC are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except where expressly authorized, you may not:
- Copy
- Modify
- Sell
- License
- Distribute
- Reverse engineer
- Exploit
our proprietary materials.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
11. Copyright Complaints
We respect intellectual-property rights.
If you believe content on WeMetOnline infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, contact: copyright@wemetonline.com
Your notice should include sufficient information to identify:
- The copyrighted or protected work
- The allegedly infringing material
- Where the material appears on WeMetOnline
- Your contact information
- The basis for your claim

12. Privacy
Our collection, use, retention, and handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy:

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review the Privacy Policy.
13. Account Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate an account if we reasonably believe the account:
- Violates these Terms
- Violates our Community Guidelines
- Creates a safety or security risk
- Is used for fraudulent activity
- Is used for spam or abuse
- Is operated by a person under 18
- Violates applicable law
- Creates substantial legal risk for WeMetOnline or other users
Serious violations may result in immediate termination.
Repeated violations may result in permanent removal from the Service.
14. Account Deletion
You may permanently delete your WeMetOnline account.
Account deletion is available through the account or settings area of the WeMetOnline mobile application.
An external account-deletion option is also available at:

Permanent deletion removes your account and associated personal information and user-generated content from our active systems, subject to limited retention permitted or required for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or similar legitimate purposes.
Temporary deactivation or suspension is not permanent account deletion.
15. Third-Party Services and Links
WeMetOnline may contain links to websites, applications, content, or services operated by third parties.
FTL Communications LLC does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, their content, or their privacy or security practices.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
16. Changes to the Service
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features of WeMetOnline.
We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice of material changes.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
If material changes are made, we may provide notice through:
- The Service
- Our website
- Another reasonable method
The effective date displayed at the top of these Terms will be updated accordingly.
Continued use of the Service after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WeMetOnline is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
FTL Communications LLC does not guarantee that:
- The Service will always be available or uninterrupted
- Every user will comply with these Terms
- User-generated content will be accurate or truthful
- The Service will be completely free of errors or security incidents
- Content or interactions provided by other users will be suitable for you
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FTL Communications LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of WeMetOnline.
Where applicable law prohibits a particular limitation of liability, that limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
20. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FTL Communications LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from:
- Content you submit
- Your unlawful use of WeMetOnline
- Your material violation of these Terms
- Your infringement of another person's legal rights
This provision does not apply where prohibited by applicable law.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
Subject to applicable law, disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be handled by courts of competent jurisdiction located in Clark County, Nevada.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
23. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable Community Guidelines, constitute the agreement between you and FTL Communications LLC concerning your use of WeMetOnline.
